Kolar Design welcomes Senior Designer Annelle Stotz. With a background in brand development, Annelle rejoins the KD team after an experience abroad.
KD also welcomes Designer Brianna Frappier-Schirmang, an interior design graduate of the University of Cincinnati's school of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning.
Joining P&G's Global Architect and design partner Aidea, Phillippines, Kelly Kolar co-presented the company's work with P&G to develop global design guidelines and branded environments for P&G facilities throughout the world at the 2008 SEGD national conference in Denver. This award winning work has also been featured in volume 20 of the SEGD Design magazine.
Kelly Kolar is honored to be serving a two-year term as the President of the University of Cincinnati DAAP Alumni Association. She joins Senior Designer Mike Ruehlman in working to build the alumni support and stewardship to the University. Kelly is also serving on the Legacy Committee for the "Proudly Cincinnati" campaign.
Mary Dietrich lectured on Project Delivery Methodologies at the SEGD regional conference in Chicago in February. The presentation highlighted current trends in project approaches. A copy of thispresentation is available on the SEGD.org website.
In July, Kelly Kolar and Mary Dietrich co-presented an overview of Branded Environments Theory and Practice for the SEGD ongoing education series. A copy of this presentation is available on the SEGD.org website.
Kelly Kolar has authored a chapter of the book, Wayfinding: Designing and Implementing Graphic Navigational Systems (Craig Berger/Rotovision). The chapter highlights the University of Cincinnati MainStreet project.
Kelly Kolar, principal at KD, is serving a three-year term on the Board of Directors for the Society for Environmental Graphic Design (SEGD).
